Beginner Lesson 1 -
The Prodigal Son
Listening Lesson
Lesson 1 is the Parable of the Prodigal Son, which is found in Luke 15, verses 11-32. Let’s start with the Listening Exercise. This exercise is the first part of Beginner Lesson 1, or you can do it as an individual listening exercise.
For beginners, the text has more simple vocabulary and verbs. It is also recorded at a slower speed.
First, be prepared to find the answers to these four questions as you listen:
- Where did the boy go when he left his father’s house?
- What was the first thing he did in this new place?
- When he returned home, what did he tell his father?
- What did his father do?
