The Parable of the Lost Sheep is found in Luke 5:1-7. Let’s start with the Listening Exercise. This exercise is the first part of Beginner Lesson 2, or you can do it as an individual listening exercise.
First, be prepared to find the answers to these four questions as you listen:
- Who came to listen to Jesus?
- How many sheep did the shepherd have?

The Lost Sheep – Luke 15:1-7 CEV
Do you hear the way English speakers put stress on certain words and syllables? Is it difficult to know where one word ends and another word starts? Do your best, but don’t worry if you don’t understand everything. You can listen to it again while you read it in the next exercise.
